    Biography
    Dr. Fuping Gao obtained a Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Peking Union Medical College in July 2008. From July 2008 to July 2010, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Institute of Medical Physics and Engineering, Department of Engineering Physics, Tsinghua University. From August 2010 to August 2012, she worked as an assistant researcher in Laboratory of Controllable Preparation and Application of Nanomaterials, Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In June 2013, she joined the Key Laboratory for Biomedical Effects of Nanomaterials and Nanosafety, Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). In recent years, she have published a total of 40 SCI papers in the field of nanomaterials, such as Advanced materials, ACS Nano, Advanced Healthcare Materials, Biomaterials, Nano Research, Nanoscale, Chem. Commun, etc.; Participated in book writing of "Introduction to Clinical Oncology", "Magnetic Medical Materials" and "Tumor Thermotherapy Biology" (Deputy Editor-in-Chief). As an independent project manager, she undertook five projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She also participated in a number of national and provincial-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation Major Projects of China, the Beijing Science and Technology Major Project, and the 973 Project, etc..

     
    Research Interests
    (1) The application of nanomaterials in the treatment of major diseases and its mechanism;  

    (2) Nanoprobe and its biological imaging in the early diagnosis of major diseases;

    (3) Interaction and mechanism of nanomaterials and biological organisms.
